Here is the detailed answer:

Wishlist Auto Registration registers members automatically to any WLM membership when they return to the membership site after a successful purchase, whether the link was affiliated or not.

The flow is like this:

Step 1 – Customer clicks on the purchase link and redirected to the payment gateway

Step 2 – Customer completes the payment and redirected back to the membership site

Step 3 – Done automatically by Wishlist Auto Registration >> the customer is added to the relevant membership level and automatically logged-in to the members’ area.

Answer:

Using Wishlist 1-Click Registration you can automatically register members from one membership site to another. The plugin needs to be installed in the new website, in Lisa’s case her colleague’s website.

Go to the Generator tab, select the relevant membership level and thank you page and click generate. Now all that’s left is to copy the HTML code and paste it in the text editor of any post or page in the old membership site, the one you want to roll members from and that’s it.

Now when a member will click on the link he’ll be automatically registered to the new membership site. Just note that for the link to work, members need to be logged in to the old membership site.

I am trying to customize our Wishlist checkout process, and want to see if Wishlist Auto Registration will allow us to do the flow we are looking for.

Here is what we are wanting our check out flow to be:

1. User registers for free account (so that we can their information)
2. They are redirected to the product page, where they can pick between our 2 products (annual or monthly subscription)
3. After they choose a product, they are redirected to the payment page where they can pay
4. Their account is now active

Hi Dana,

I looked through all the FAQ and have a question. It relates to this post below:

But isn’t 100% answered (at least to me). Here’s the question: Let’s say someone comes to my site and registers for a free user account.

Then, decides to buy something and (if I have the auto registration plugin for wishlist member with the stripe payment gateway) gets auto registered.

Will they now have two accounts? Or will their accounts be merged into one?

“If I want to use AWeber integration with Wishlist Auto Registration plugin, will I be forced to have my customers double opt-in?

Even though my campaign at Aweber is defined as single opt-in, when I do a test registration to my Wishlist Member membership site I am getting a confirmation email that forces me to approve my registration to the mailing list.

Why is it happening and how can I change it single opt-in?

Question:

I want to be able to automatically register my new members. They will be paying via Stripe or Paypal. I understand your Wishlist Auto Registration plugin does that.

1. Is there anything else I’ll need to purchase besides the Core plugin and the Stripe add-on?

2. How does this integrate with aWeber? When it automatically registers them does it also enter them into an aWeber list? I need to know how to make it all happen together or at same time.
