In the past few months we have been getting so many requests from customers to develop a plugin that will register members automatically to Wishlist Member membership sites.
We are finally happy to announce that we will be releasing Wishlist Auto Registration in a few weeks.

Wishlist Auto Registration is a Wishlist Member dedicated plugin that automates the registration process, meaning: it registers members to your membership site automatically after they return from the payment gateway.

How does Wishlist Auto Registration work?
After a user clicks on the payment link, he is transferred to the payment gateway.
Wishlist Auto Registration uses the email filled inside the payment gateway to automatically register your members to the site.
Members are redirected straight to the After Registration page and they are already logged-in to the members’ area.
How do members get the username and password?
Since the registration process is done automatically by Wishlist Auto Registration, members won’t need to fill-in the registration form.
We added simple shortcodes to the plugin, so all you need to do is add your desired shortcodes to the After Registration page and your members will be able to get them.
The shortcodes
The shortcodes present the below information:
- Username (Auto-generated)
- First Name
- Last Name
- Password (Auto-generated)
- Registration Email (Taken from the payment gateway)
- Level Name
- Receipt No.
- Action (New member/ Upgrade)
- Content Box (To add a welcoming message to new/ upgraded memberships)
Does Wishlist Auto Registration prevent incomplete registrations?
Yes. Since all the registrations will be done automatically by the plugin, there will be no incomplete registrations at all.
Does Wishlist Wishlist Auto Registration prevent duplicate registrations?
Yes. Wishlist Auto Registration uses the email members filled inside the payment gateway to register them to the site, so when a member upgrades his membership, the plugin identifies that the email already exists and automatically upgrades the membership.
With what payment gateways Wishlist Auto Registration work?
Wishlist Auto Registration works with PayPal and Clickbank for now, but will be support more shopping carts in the future.
