Question

I am trying to customize our Wishlist checkout process, and want to see if Wishlist Auto Registration will allow us to do the flow we are looking for.

Here is what we are wanting our check out flow to be:

1. User registers for free account (so that we can their information)
2. They are redirected to the product page, where they can pick between our 2 products (annual or monthly subscription)
3. After they choose a product, they are redirected to the payment page where they can pay
4. Their account is now active

Will Wishlist Auto Registration allow us to do this?

“I want to create a custom registration form for my membership site (I’m using Wishlist Member).

I saw there is an option to create custom registration forms within the plugin, but I was looking for a more user-friendly and nice looking registration form.

Are there any alternatives besides customizing the form’s CSS?

Question:

I am looking for a way to insert a clear and understandable registration form to my free membership inside posts and pages.

I know that Wishlist Member allows adding this kind of shortcode. The shortcode does display the registration form, but I don’t link they way it looks, I want to be able to customize it and also to add captcha to prevent spam. Is there anyway I achieve what I need?

Using Wishlist Member’s built-in shortcodes you can easily insert a registration form into any page or post.

The steps are very simple:

1. Create a page / post or any other content
2. Click the Wishlist Member button in the toolbar and choose “Shortcodes”
3. Scroll down and choose the [regiser_levelname] shortcode for the correct level

That’s it, your are done!

Changing the registration form to the new layout can be done very easily.

This is the quick navigation to changing the registration settings:

Go to Wishlist Member Settings tab > Configuration > Miscellaneous > Registration Form Layout and choose “Improved” layout as seen in the screenshot below.

You can also use our plugin Wishlist Auto Registration to register members to your membership site automatically and avoid incomplete and duplicate registration.
