Tip #68: How to Register Members to Multiple Membership Sites Automatically

Many of our customers ask us if it’s possible to sell access to multiple membership sites automatically?

The short answer is… Yes, it is possible, but not with the regular Wishlist Member settings.

Why would you want to sell access to multiple membership sites?

These are only some of the reasons why our customers want to and why you may want to do it too:

• If you have different membership sites related to the same niche and you want to increase your revenues by allowing members to purchase access to several sites in one purchase
• Create unique bundles and packages
• Promote other peoples’ membership sites (joint ventures)
• And more…

There are basically 2 ways to register members to multiple membership sites:

Option #1: Connecting Wishlist Member with WooCommerce

By using a ready-made commercial plugin (plus an extension) that integrates Wishlist Member with WooCommerce and allow customers to purchase multiple memberships, whether they are memberships of one membership site or different ones.

Using this option, which is much more cost effective, can be easily done by installing WooCommerce plugin on your Wishlist Member membership site and creating your membership products using WooCommerce.

From this step forward WooCommerce will be the one responsible for all the payments and subscriptions, so you will need to setup you payment gateways and subscriptions using WooCommerce extensions.

After the customer completes the purchase process he will be automatically registered to all membership sites as defined inside the plugin, which is called: Wishlist Member WooCommerce Plus.

To accomplish the option to register members to different membership sites you will also need an add-on for the plugin: External Membership Sites AddOns Bundle.

A quick overview of the plugins:

Wishlist Member WooCommerce Plus – This plugin integrate Wishlist Member & WooCommerce and will allow you to set WooCommerce product as membership levels or pay-per-post content and every time a customer purchase the product he will also be added to the level as defined in the product settings

The External Membership Sites AddOn – This product adds the option to sell membership levels that are located on external Wishlist Member membership sites.

Using both plugins together you will be able create very complex scenarios such as:

• Sell packages and bundles of your membership products
• Selling other’s memberships (joint ventures)

Option #2: Custom Development
