Tip #48: How to Manage Multiple ClickBank Accounts in One Wishlist Member Membership Site
April 10, 2015 1 Comment
Wishlist Member has a complete integration with ClickBank network, so if you are selling your products on ClickBank , you can easily integrate them.
If you are new to Wishlist Member and have started using Wishlist Member only after version 2.8 was released, you may not know that there is another way to integrate Wishlist Member Clickbank, other than the current Wishlist Member ClickBank integration.
Although this method is for people who are a bit more techies, you may found it more flexible in some scenarios, for example:
If you have multiple ClickBank accounts where you are selling different products, but you want to sell them through one Wishlist Member membership site.
Selling Multiple ClickBank Products through One Membership Site:
If you are using the current Wishlist Member integration (version 2.8 and up), you cannot sell multiple ClickBank products through one Wishlist Membership site, because you need to insert your merchant account’s name in the integration settings.
However, you can easily accomplish this kind of scenario using the “old” Wishlist Member & Clickbank integration settings (that were available in the older Wishlist Member versions – before v 2.8).
Here is how you can accomplish it step by step:
Step #1. Insert ClickBank secret key into Wishlist Member ClickBank integration settings
You will find the secret key in your ClickBank account under: Settings >> My Site >> Advanced Tools
When you are using multiple ClickBank accounts, the secret key should be the same on all accounts. To edit your secret key simply click on the “Edit” link.
The Secret Key:
Step #2. Insert the Thank You Page URL into the relevant ClickBank products
Go to the relevant ClickBank product (under Settings >> My Products) and insert the Thank You Page URL that can be found inside Wishlist Member ClickBank integration settings (in Step 2).
Step #3. Create your products’ purchase links manually
These purchase links have an easy structure:
http://{item_number}.{publisher_id}.pay.ClickBank.net?sku={level_id}
Replace the parameters inside the brackets with the right information from your membership site.
Here is what every parameter means and where you can get it:
- {item_number} – Is the number of the product inside the relevant ClickBank account.
- {publisher_id} – The ClickBank account it
- {level_id} – The level id you want to sell using this purchase link, you can find the information on Wishlist Member -> Integration -> Shopping Cart – Generic integration.
Insert the purchase links in the relevant pages and that’s it! You are ready to start selling multiple ClickBank products through Wishlist Member.
This method will also work perfectly with Wishlist Auto Registration + ClickBank Payment Gateway Add-On to register your members automatically to your membership site.
