We don’t think that there is such a thing the best theme for Wishlist Member.
You need to choose the theme according to your membership website depmends.
But if you are looking for a place to start you should try these themes providers:
WooThemes, OptimizePress & Thesis theme.
WooThemes have two of our favorites theme one is headline which is the current theme of this website and the other once is Canvas which is a very flexible theme.
Regarding OptimizePress there is one think you should know, OptimizePress was designed not to support posts, so if you choose it, most of your content should be place inside pages.
As for the Thesis theme this theme is one of the flexible theme we ever seen and it’s working great with Wishlist Member plugin.

I am using Optimizepress and when I installed Wishlish and activated the plugin it took the Optimizepress footer and posted it towards the top of my page, do you know why this is?
