Wishlist Member iDevAffiliate Integration

iDevAffiliate is a very popular and veteran affiliate platform that integrates with Wishlist Member and is used by many of our Wishlist Member clients.

In this post we go over the steps to integrating iDevAffiliate with Wishlist Member quickly and easily.

iDevAffiliate Add-On for Wishlist Member Download & Installation

The add-on will allow you to integrate iDevAffiliate with Wishlist Member.

First you need to download the iDevAffiliate add-on for Wishlist Member (You need to be logged-in to your Wishlist Member account):

Follow the instructions below on how to install the add-on quickly and easily:

1. Unzip the add-on using an unzip program like winzip
2. Extract the idevaffiliate.php file and upload it to wp-content/plugins/
   wishlist-member/extensions using FTP or CPanel File Manager (Cannot be uploaded from the WordPress backend » Plugins

iDevAffiliate Add-On for Wishlist Member Integration

Once you have iDevAffiliate extension installed go to the Wishlist Member menu inside WordPress » Extensions » iDevAffiliate » Settings as seen below:

To fully integrate the iDevAffiliate add-on for Wishlist Member follow these steps:

1. Fill in the iDevAffiliate URL – This is the link to your iDevAffiliate installation
2. Fill in the relevant amount for every membership level:
   • Amount – the initial fee for the level. Using this field, commission will be recorded according the iDevAffiliate Commission levels
   • Recurring Amount – The fee that will be charged for ongoing billing. Using this field, commission will be recorded according the iDevAffiliate Commission levels
   • Commission Amount – The commission that will recorded in iDevAffiliate for the level (this overrides the iDev commission levels)
   • Commission Amount Recurring – The commission that will recorded in iDevAffiliate for the level for ongoing payments (this overrides the iDev commission levels)
3. Save the settings by clicking Save Settings button

Important Note: Currently these fields are used only for iDevAffiliate connection. Payment buttons must still be created. Only enter amounts in Columns 1 and 2 or Columns 3 and 4.

Login to iDevAffiliate administration and click on Cart Integration » Shopping Cart Integration Wizard » Wishlist Member » Continue To Next Page

iDevAffiliate is now configured for Wishlist Member!

Create Payment Buttons:

Create a payment button for your membership level in the shopping cart or payment
processor you are using. No additional changes are required for this integration.

Testing your implementation:

1. Using an affiliate link from your iDevAffiliate installation, make a payment
   Complete the registration process for Wishlist Member
   Login to your iDevAffiliate Admin panel.

Pending Commissions:

If iDevAffiliate is setup to approve commissions, click on the Pending Commissions to see the commissions that are waiting approval.

If the payment has been successful, you will see a commission created on today’s date with a WLM transaction ID.

Click on the Full Details link for the commission to get the details

Automatically Approved Commissions:

If iDevAffiliate is setup to approve commissions, click on the Current Commissions.

Select Current Approved Commissions from the drop down list and click View

If the payment has been successful, you will see a commission created on today’s date with a WLM transaction ID.
