How to remove “powered by wishlist member” that appear on the footer of my membership website?

Question

Hi Guys,

How do I remove the “powered by wishlist member” text that appears in the footer of my membership website?

Raymond

Answer

Hi Raymond,

By default on every website that installs and activates Wishlist Member plugin a footer with “powered by wishlist member” text will be added.

The footer will link to Wishlist Member’s website.

The propose of this link is to give you, the owner of the website, the chance to earn affiliate commissions from all the people who will buy Wishlist Member plugin through your link.

If you want to remove this footer you can do it very easily from the Wishlist Member settings page.

Go the the setting page, look for “Show affiliate link” setting and choose ‘no’.

This will remove the footer link from all your membership website’s pages.

  1. Thanks for this!

  2. Where is the link to remove “powered by wishlist” in v.2.71?

    • You will find the option to remove the Powered by Wishlist at:

      Settings » Configuration » Miscellaneous

There you will find a field called: “Show Affiliate Link in Footer:” and just click the “No”

  3. Thanks for the information. I was looking for a way to remove this.
