Here are 3 ways you can protect your videos to be viewed by members only:

1. Wistia

Wistia is a very popular service for embedding videos and it allows you to protect your videos in a very easy way.

In order to protect a video all you need to do is enter your Wistia account, go to “Project Actions” >> “Sharing & Privacy” and in the window that pops-up check the Locked option as seen in the below screenshot:

You can try Wistia for free, all you need to do is open an account at Wistia.com and you will be able to upload up to 3 videos with no charge or credit card needed.

Creating a paid account for uploading more videos and having more features costs between $25 to $300 per month.

2. Vimeo Pro

Vimeo is another very poplar service and it is also the service used by Wishlist Member to protect their online community’s videos, but if you want to protect your videos you will need the Vimeo Pro service (paid).

Protecting your videos with Vimeo Pro is also quite easily: Go to the Privacy settings and choose the relevant settings (password protected and where can the video be embedded) as seen in the below screenshot:

3. Amazon S3

Unlike other services that you pay a monthly / yearly price, with Amazon S3 yo are only paying for the traffic you are using.

On the other hand, Amazon S3 does not provide you with all the “fancy” features that the above services provide you and you will need to use a special plugin or player in order to play media files that are hosted on Amazon S3.

There are many free plugins that will allow you to do it and a simple Google search will give you many results, or you can use commercial plugins / services that will allow you to manage your amazon media files more easily like: eZe3, Simple S3 or S3Bubble.
