Many of our clients are either using the default error pages created by Wishlist Member plugin or tweak it a bit, but don’t invest in really customizing them in a way they will actually help generate more registrations to their membership site.
The error page is actually one of the best pages you should invest some thought in, because only visitors who try to access specific content they don’t have permission to watch go directly to the error page.
These visitors are hot leads! They just expected to continue reading something interesting on your site… And they want to continue reading it…
If you won’t provide them with a way to do it they will probably leave your site and both of you will lose.

Many of our clients have asked us in the past if Wishlist Member integrates with bbPress forum.
Well, until now, bbPress did not have a complete integration with Wishlist Member, as when integrating the two of them, there was no option to protect the main forum index page nor the topics and replies within the forum to be seen by members only.
Regarding the main forum index page (E.g. http://yourdomain.com/members-forum, it could not be protected at all.
Regarding the topics and replies created by your forum’s members, they could only be protected by the admin manually, meaning: you needed to enter each topic and reply >> go to the Wishlist Member Meta box >> define the protection settings for each.

We have wishlist member and we’re setting up WooCommerce to sell hard shippable products. We do not sell any products to non-members.
We want to use Wishlist Member to restrict WooCommerce store to only be available to our members.
Do any of your plugins achieve this?

Hi, I am just about to buy your WLM & WooCommerce integration plugin.
However what I need to know is can you create an invoice pre gateway from the the bundled 2.
My situation is this. I am in Australia and have a site providing training materials. In Australia we have goods and services tax of 10% and have to provide a invoice with the GST separate out.
I am looking to build a solution that can address this and I am hoping that if I integrate WLM with WooCommerce, I will have it licked. Am I on the right track?

I’m installing Wishlist Member on my site and I’m wondering if it’s possible for a user to upgrade/downgrade their membership on their own. Everything I’m finding online seems to suggest that the user must wait for me to upgrade/downgrade the membership level for them. I believe users would prefer to control over that decision and take care of it themselves. Is there anything available that would allow them to do this?

Wishlist Member has a complete integration with ClickBank network, so if you are selling your products on ClickBank , you can easily integrate them.
If you are new to Wishlist Member and have started using Wishlist Member only after version 2.8 was released, you may not know that there is another way to integrate Wishlist Member Clickbank, other than the current Wishlist Member ClickBank integration.
Although this method is for people who are a bit more techies, you may found it more flexible in some scenarios, for example:
If you have multiple ClickBank accounts where you are selling different products, but you want to sell them through one Wishlist Member membership site.
If you are using the current Wishlist Member integration (version 2.8 and up), you cannot sell multiple ClickBank products through one Wishlist Membership site, because you need to insert your merchant account’s name in the integration settings.
However, you can easily accomplish this kind of scenario using the “old” Wishlist Member & Clickbank integration settings (that were available in the older Wishlist Member versions – before v 2.8).

Hi,
I’m having issues setting up WooCommerce and the Wishlist Member Integration Extension from WooThemes.
I’m using PayPal Advanced via the PayPal Advanced extension (also from WooThemes).
I’m also using the Genesis Framework and the Agency child theme.
I’ve read all the documentation for each extension and believe I have set things up correctly, but I can’t get things to work. So, there’s a good chance that I don’t have things set up correctly.
The issue I’m currently struggling with is as following. I can get to the point of checking out. I add my credit card data via the PayPal Advanced screen. When I click the button to process the order, I get the following error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wlmapi_update_member() in /home/cdonohue/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-wishlist-member/woocommerce_wishlist.php on line 311.
My credit card does get charged and the payment does show up in my PayPal account. There is no contact made with Wishlist Member, though. No new members ever show up and I’m never redirected beyond the error message noted above.
If anyone has seen this before, I could sure use some guidance. Thanks!
