Tip #63: 6 Powerful Methods to Delivering Content to Your Members

There are many different ways to deliver content to members to create urgency, make them want to upgrade their membership, increase their engagement, not cancel their subscription and more.

In this tip we collected some of the most common ways to deliver content  inside the members’ area, including:

• Displaying chunks of content inside any post or page visible only to specific membership levels
• Upgrading members from membership level/ s to other levels after x number of days / weeks / months / years
• Change the protection settings of any post or page (levels / pay-per-posts / make content unprotected etc.)
• Display chunks of content according to each member’s registration date
• Schedule content to be delivered according to membership level
• Manage your content to be deleted / re-posted / moved to a new category etc.

Methods for Delivering Content

Method #1: Private Tags

Using Wishlist Member private tags you can make chunks of content inside any post or page visible only to specific membership levels.

The private tags can be found when editing the post or page > inside the blue Wishlist Member toolbar > Mergecodes.

Just choose the relevant membership level, add your content and the shortcode will be inserted to the post.

The content inside the shortcode will be displayed only to members who are assigned to the membership levels defined.

Method #2: Sequential Upgrade

The Sequential Upgrade feature allows you to upgrade members from membership level to another after x number of days / weeks / months / years.

Go to the Sequential Upgrade tab in Wishlist Member define the settings:

Method #3: Wishlist Auto Protect Pro

Wishlist Auto Protect Pro allows you to move specific posts / pages from one protection setting to another after x number of days or on a specific date and hour.

All the settings you define will occur at the time you specify under the “Time Settings”, here is an example:

Method #4: Wishlist Drip Dynamic Shortcodes

Wishlist Drip Dynamic Shortcodes allows you to display specific posts / pages after x period of time passed from each member’s registration date.

You can also display each member the exact time each content will be revealed to him using parameters you can define inside the shortcode.
